Wedding Favours – Charity Badges
My absolute number one wedding favour are charity badges. Not only are you donating to a charity of your choice but you’re also building the awareness of that charity. Badges usually range between £1-£2.50 each. I chose to support MIND since this was a charity close to my heart. What made it even more special was that by the end of the night almost all of our guests were wearing them and that felt so special to us.
Every year, mental health effects one in four of us but hundreds of thousands of people are still struggling. It’s a disease of the mind that people seem to be afraid to talk about. I wanted to raise awareness because I wish that I had heard about the charity sooner.
For more information about the charity and what they do visit the MIND website.
The MIND charity badges came with name places so you can kill two birds with one stone. I liked the name places but I already knew what I wanted so I didn’t use them. Instead I bought a batch load of small organza bags from eBay and placed a badge in each one.
It’s not the cheapest wedding favour but for us, we wanted to give something that really meant something to us and it all goes to great cause. The MIND badges
work out at £1.35 each. They come in packs of 10 or 100 and they come in silver, gold or blue.
You can buy the badges from a MIND charity shop if you have one local to you or if you’re planning on getting more than 10 I’d suggest purchasing them directly from the MIND website
. Take a look around their site since they also offer alternative wedding favours such as sunflower seeds.
Other charity badges are also available from the following charities:
